Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miriam was brought in from the streets as a stray mama that moved her kittens into someone’s basement through an open window. She was adopted previously, but returned because she developed some eating issues that we believe resulted from her feeling that there wasn’t enough food to go around between her and the other two cats in the home, (as a result of her previously having been a stray) and stress from having three very young kids in the home.
Miriam is now back with us, and looking for a quieter home where she can have someone give her a little extra TLC during feeding time. We have not seen any issues with Miriam since she has been back at The Cat Hut, and is able to eat by herself in her own condo. We think that Miriam would benefit from a home that would be able to feed her in a separate room from other resident kitties.
Miriam is friendly with other cats, but prefers to go and do her own thing. She is a pretty lady that likes to be pet and picked up, and she'll let you know that she's there by coming to rub up against your legs. She likes every person she meets, but we think older elementary kids and up would be better for Miriam.
