My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am here because my owner who took me and my 4 kittens in...then... decided she had too many cats when my kittens were about 3 months old! She left us at Portsmouth Animal Services - their shelter was already full - no room for me and my family.....did not look too promising...

...until Cat Rescue claimed me and my family. We were transferred to them..I arrived to the Pet Center on 2 July 2023 as I was already spayed so I got a room. My 4 kittens went to a Foster waiting for spay and neuter appointments.

I was a very young Mum and was a good Mum. I am very attentive and I do love to get face and chin rubs....but there is something quite interesting about me....I will talk to you in a low kind growl...I will approach you while making biscuits...but every day, I am becoming less fearful.

I will jump out of of room/cage and will explore the room. Sometimes, I will go to visit other cats in their room and curl up for a nap.

I will need a patient person to help me to adjust and to calm down. I did not get that much personal attention from my prior owner...she left me alone as I had my kittens to care for.

My owner had a home with very active high energy kids - so I was always dodging them - I have not learned any other way... but I want to change....come and visit me and I will approach you at my door. I will be waiting for you.

Come and visit me on the weekends during playtime at the Chesapeake PetSmart Store, Pet Adoption Center on Greenbrier Parkway:
Saturday, 1100 - 1700
Sunday, 1200 - 1700
Plus, you can always visit me any time the store is open Monday - Friday and call the contact number on my cage card to meet me.
