******Ophelia was rescued from the streets of the Bronx in April 2022. She was very skinny and had severe dental issues. She went through the vetting, vaccination, dental process to resolve all her issues quickly and was physically ready for adoption within a few months but she has a bit of a quirky personality which made other rescues not want to place her online for me.
Ophelia is the *sweetest* girl, but she is a bit of a scaredy cat. I wouldn't quite call her semi-feral because she's not aggressive but she does get spooked easily. When I am laying in bed or sitting on the couch, stationary, Ophelia will sometimes hop up to me to get pets. She does very much enjoy being pet! It's just when I move an inch or there is a loud noise she gets spooked and will run away. She has a very calm personality and would be best in a home with perhaps an older couple. She is fully vetted and currently lives in a home with my two other long-term foster cats. They aren't friends but they do get along so Ophelia can probably thrive with or without other cats in the house.
