My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN FLORIDA **

Ever want a dog you can flip into “sport mode”? It’s me! Pick me!  I would love to do some doggie sports with you! In fact I thrive on them.

I started out slow with fetch and learning how to walk nicely on the leash, but I'm ready to move on to bigger things. Maybe I'd enjoy dock diving or fast CAT.

I have a high drive and want to please the humans I love, but I'm perfectly fine being crated. I would do best as an only dog or as a member of a crate and rotate pack.

My adopter should have a fenced in yard that I can run in and have experience with sports dogs. I'm excellent when I get my energy out, but I can be destructive without exercise.

About me: my name is Poe, I am about 1.5 years old now. I’m a neutered male with a factory tail. To apply to adopt go to lostangelsanimalrescue.org

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Filling out an application is an important first step in our adoption process. These can be submitted online at our website: www.lostangelsanimalrescue.org.

Meeting the dog you are interested in, asking questions and talking with the foster parent(s) about their foster pup is the next step.

The foster parent will do a thorough check of your completed application (especially vet references) and possibly do a home visit with their foster dog before making a decision on their placement. (This is not 'first come, first served'. We only complete adoptions to homes that offer what is best & needed for our foster dogs; ie. a fenced yard, someone home longer hours with the dog, etc )

Go meet their pets

A meet n' greet can be arranged upon a pre-approved application.

More about this rescue

We are a non profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted dogs. We take our pets from kill shelters, owners who can longer care for them, and strays. They are completely vetted and then fostered in our homes until the perfect family can be found for them.
