Meet Athena and Bud!

This duo met in their foster home when they were kittens. They have become quite the duo. These two love to play tag with each other when the zoomies come around. Bud, Bud is the best cat! He LOVES to play fetch, he brings it back to you every single time! He loves to snuggle close at night ;) loves to chat as well! Athena, this sweet lady is by far the sweetest girl! She loves her person and likes to chat too when you’re petting her, she also has the best facial expressions!
Can’t decide between a goofy ginger or a chatty calico - why choose when you can have both! Childhood friends, Bud and Athena, can grant all your wishes. This duo will keep you entertained with comical games of tag and amazing feats of acrobatics as they zoom around your home. Sweet Bud was actually a dog in a previous life. When he’s done playing tag he would love nothing more than to play fetch with his human family members. While Athena is also playful, this gorgeous gal’s real love is philosophy which she will happily discuss while you lavish her with pets. And at the end of your day, after Bud and Athena have entertained you and intellectually challenged you, they will happily snuggle up and sleep and dream with you.

Thank you for applying to adopt one of our angels. We know you're excited but please bare with us. It can take up to 7-10 business days to process your application. We receive multiple applications everyday and our volunteers go over each one carefully to match our rescues to their purrrrfect furever home.

We are 100% in-home foster based so arrangements will have to be made with the foster of the rescue you are interested in. Once the social distancing restrictions have been lifted we will start hosting live adoption events at different locations.

Founded in 2016 Mabel's Orphaned Angel's Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit all-animal rescue based in Southern Maryland.

At the time of writing this we have well over 130+ rescues in our care. We are 100% home-foster based and depend entirely on the donations of our generous supporters.
