My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tobias is available for local adoption or adoption and transport to another state. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so he is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home.
Tobias was found running the streets. He is a smaller lab mix weighing 47 pounds and around 3 years of age. Tobias is a sweet boy and he loves to be petted. He loves to play, likes his chew bones, and is good with other dogs, children, and cats. Tobias is crate-trained and well-behaved in the house. He likes to ride in a vehicle, walks well on a leash, and comes when called, but could still use some additional obedience training. We think he is finally housetrained but no guarantees. He likes to lie on the dog bed under the desk while we are working. Tobias likes to be with his human. We have to put him in the house whenever we leave. If we walk over to the neighbor's, Tobias will escape the yard to come looking for us. Tobias must be in the house as a loved member of the family and he needs a fenced yard to run and play.
Tobias is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Tobias had a light case of heartworms when we first got him. We used the slow-kill method (we are happy to explain this) and he is now negative for heartworms and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Tobias' out-of-state adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport, and he can be transported almost anywhere within the continental United States. Tobias is located in Texas and cannot be transported until after he is adopted. Please send an email to 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this very good boy.
