My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Walnut and Tricky are brothers who were rescued from a lumber yard. We got word there were a few kittens there in great peril, so one of Kitty City’s volunteers spent an afternoon convincing these little dumplings that they wanted to be rescued! Canned food worked pretty quickly on Tricky (the short-haired black kitten) who was promptly snatched up and put in a cat carrier. Walnut, however, (the medium-haired Siamese mix) wasn’t sure he wanted to be caught. He wanted the food but kept running back into the wood pile. What finally convinced him to come out wasn’t the canned food at all--it was his brother! Tricky started to cry and Walnut was so worried about him that he couldn’t help but move towards him. Both kittens decided that they liked the tame life that evening over a plate of pate and eventually joined a large group of kittens already in the foster home. Tricky’s main goal in life is mayhem. He makes sure that you are always laughing at his antics and he’s always wrestling with someone in between pouncing on his foster mom to get snuggles and kisses. He is the most loving, fun cat and he has the prettiest green eyes! Walnut brings the DRAMA. He screams like he’s being killed when you trim his nails and he will give you a glare to curdle milk after you upset him, but you will forget all that when he asks to be held and purrs under your chin. He has the softest fur--like a little cloud--and he loves tummy kisses. He adores attention and he’s never in short supply! Both kittens should do well with other animals and kids (expect sass from Prince Walnut LOL), given a proper introduction.

Walnut and Tricky were born approximately April 1, 2023, and their combined adoption fee is $275. They are neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, are microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. Come see these sweet babies at our adoption center this weekend!
