My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Single, senior (12ish) male Chihuahua (no teeth but perky tongue-out smile), seeks single lady or retired couple. Objective = Companionship and loads of cuddles! Once I find my ideal roomie, I know you’ll find I am the best of buddies. I love lounging around with my favorite person, but a nice walk is also on my list of things I like to do.

I don’t like sharing my space with other dogs, cats or people. Like many older folks, I can grumble and if you surprise me I may snap at you (lucky I have no teeth, right?). But in a home with one or two adults who will take time to get to know me, I am the sweetest, snuggliest boy. I know how to sleep in a crate, but would much prefer to spend the night cuddling under the covers.

As you can see, I am an older gentleman. My exact age is unknown, but I think I'm about 12. I am still getting around well, and loving life not being in a shelter or on the streets.

I’m a very loyal guy after I decide you’re mine, so if you decide to meet me, don’t be put off by my tough guy exterior. I’m still learning that humans can be kind and gentle. If you are looking to spend a little time with a sweet senior, I may be just what you’re looking for.

Possum has been neutered, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.
