My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie and Daisy (born: 4/1/2023) are sisters. They are sweet, playful and loving kittens that are a bonded pair and love to be together. Shy at first, they still need some more socialization, but they are affectionate and loving with people they know. The sisters enjoy playing together with their toys, grooming each other and cuddling up. Because Dixie and Daisy are bonded, they will be adopted together as a pair.
We really appreciate that you want to give a shelter animal a home. The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904. The Vladimir Horowitz/Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center is a no-kill shelter. Our on-site clinic and staff of skilled Veterinarians looks after the health and well-being of every animal here. We also have a great adoption matchmaking team who will gladly take your profile and match you or your pet with just the right cat or dog companion. We start the process once you have submitted an application to us.
