Douggie is an amazing and sweet young guy! His story has not been a pleasant one but through it we have learned how to help Douggie get the best home possible. Douggie is a very sweet loving cat. He is playful and will snuggle in for a nap. He needs a very slow and appropriate introduction to his new home and family without cutting steps out. He needs a miracle adopter ❤️
In his first home as a kitten, he was hunted by the two older and larger females. He couldn’t get to the litter box and sometimes his food without having to encounter them, so that made him very cautious. In his second home he was doing wonderfully until another kitten was brought into the home. Without the slow advised introduction, he feared the addition. So he peed inappropriately instead of having to cross paths with the female kitten.
Once back in his foster home he has done amazingly well. He has his safe space and his own litter box. He would make an awesome office cat or a small quite home. He craves time with his human, and would need to give given plenty of attention.
If you would like more info on Douggie please reach out to his foster mom Amy at 770-367-3822 ( texting is fine) or at davenportal@gmail.com
He has been neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and combo tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
