Meet Beau
Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit, foster-based, rescue organization. AHFK is located in SE Minnesota in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue.
Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia.
All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit.
Our Adoption fee is $425.00 for a single dog adoption.
All our dogs are completely vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
We are currently accepting applications for Beau. Beau is a breeder-release. He is quite social and approaches humans with a desire to be cuddled and loved. Beau is 4 years of age, approximately 15-18 pounds. He is a Miniature Party Poodle - bi-colored.
Beau has been around children, is non-reactive to cats and loves human attention. Beau will be neutered on the 19th of July and has a full dental scheduled for mid-August.
We are looking for a home that ideally has a securely fenced yard and a family with one Pet Parent that is a stay-at-home parent, or one which works from home; a family that can help Beau acclimate to her new surroundings and environment with compassion, love, and patience. Please allow 6-8 weeks for Beau to acclimate to the changes in her life.
