Meet MiLing
Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit, foster-based, rescue organization. AHFK is located in SE Minnesota in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue.
Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia.
All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit.
Our Adoption fee is $425.00 for a single dog adoption.
All our dogs are completely vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
We are currently accepting applications for MiLing. MiLing is a Powder-Puff Chinese Crested. She has been shaved; her fur is coming back in nicely. MiLing is a breeder-release. She is only 9 months of age. She was never used for breeding.
MiLing gets along with other dogs; she is reserved around new people and settings. Loves to be held and just cuddled. She keeps her kennel clean at night and is taken directly outside to potty. She is truly a sweetheart and warms up quickly when she feels the love.
We are looking for a home with a family with one Pet Parent that is a stay-at-home parent, or one which works from home; a family that can help MiLing acclimate to her new surroundings and environment with compassion, love, and patience. Please allow 6-8 weeks for MiLing to acclimate to the changes in her life.
