Miss Ruby came to us from a breeding farm in PA. She has had more litters than we can only imagine in her short life. She is not looking back on that old life and is ready for her happily ever after in a home where she can rest by the air conditioner and be loved. She is a sweet girl and would love to be a companion to children 8 years and older, to spoil her and give her attention. What better life to have in your senior years than a family to love you? Ruby is a big girl but could lose a little bit of weight and get her body back in shape from years of neglect.

Here are three great links that have a very honest description of Alaskan Malamutes: http://www.yourpurebredpuppy.com/reviews/alaskanmalamutes.html and https://dogtime.com/dog-breeds/alaskan-malamute#/slide/1 and also http://eqi.org/malamute.htm.
Please review them carefully before submitting your application. After you return the application, we'll give you a call to schedule a home visit, and we will also call the vet indicated on your application for a reference. After that we will schedule your home visit. Once your home visit is done and you are approved to adopt, you get to meet the dog(s) that are right for your family and hopefully bring one home. Please note, we require that you bring your current dogs with you when you come to meet a dog(s) to adopt.
