My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

INTRODUCING MERLOT!

This sleek black beauty was one of many stray cats trying desperately to survive in Metaline Falls. Fortunately Katrina, her foster mom, took it upon herself to help them. Thanks to her love and wonderful care she's now ready for a home of her very own!
A year and a half old, Merlot has been spayed, wormed, vaccinated and has superb litter box habits. Though unsure of people at first because of her difficult start in life, Merlot, like a fine wine, has mellowed into the of sweetest girls under Katrina's loving care. Petite yet elegant, what she lacks in size she more than makes up for with her winning personality.
Here's what Katrina, who knows her best, has to say about her:
Though her elegant looks lend her an air of mystery, Merlot is as sweet and affectionate as she can be. She enjoys quiet moments of cuddling and being pampered by her special humans. When picked up for a snuggle, she purrs softly while rubbing her head against yours. She has a soothing, adorable coo when talking to you, or to let you know she wants to play. Second to snuggles, playtime is her most favorite time of day. She can't wait to catch the toy on a stick or pounce on a fuzzy mouse!
She would love to be adopted with her brother, Martin, the handsome orange tabby in the last picture, but they can be adopted separately. Her adoption fee is $50, or make everyone happy and adopt the pair for $80. To meet her, please fill out an adoption application on our website using this link: https://www.pawsitiveoutreach.org/adoption-application or call Gina at (480)779-9208. If you're looking for a playful, cuddly companion, Merlot is the perfect pairing!

A PLEA FOR BLACK CATS!

Did you know that black cats are the hardest to find homes for? Though silly superstitions persist, there's no good reason for that. Black cats just tend to get over looked, when there are more colorful kitties around. Even though we think they shine with the best personalities! Sleek, suave, sophisticated and as sweet as they can be, please consider giving a loving home to a petite black panther like Merlot.
