Meet Zellia
Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit, foster-based, rescue organization. AHFK is located in SE Minnesota in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue.
Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia.
All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit.
Our Adoption fee is $425.00 for a single dog adoption.
All our dogs are completely vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
We are currently accepting applications for Zellia. Zellia is a 5-year old Boston Terrier. She is a breeder-release. Zellia weighs approximately 26 - 30#
Zellia gets along with other dogs; She is very friendly and loves to be held and just cuddled.She keeps her kennel clean at night and is taken directly outside to potty. She is truly a sweetheart and warms up quickly when she feels the love.
We are looking for a home with a family with one Pet Parent that is a stay-at-home parent, or one which works from home; a family that can help Zellia acclimate to her new surroundings and environment with compassion, love, and patience. Please allow 6-8 weeks for Zellia to acclimate to the changes in his life.
