Meet Teddy!
Teddy was found in the middle of a busy road. His rescuers stopped by a shelter just to get him chip-scanned. They confirmed he had a chip but it has now been over a week of them trying to contact owners with no luck.
They called him Teddy as he looks like Teddy Ruxpin and he loves to explore! Walking around an enclosed yard is his favorite. He is very docile and likes to be cuddled.
When we found him, he was extremely matted and seemed to be neglected (teeth, fur, nails, etc.). But he is a very gentle boy. He has a soft spot for cheese (doesn’t love peanut butter interestingly) and loves to cuddle up in a corner.
He’d be a great companion to someone who loves to garden or spend time outside but isn’t able to exercise a big dog that may pull. He’d be a great addition to a family of pets and we think could be great with little ones too due to his sweet nature. He’s probably around 10 and just needs support adjusting to a new home to make sure he can live a healthy and happy life for his later years.
