My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arthur has been failed by humans his entire life. And now it’s time to change that. Arthur lost his leg to skin cancer, most likely from the years he was abandoned outside (those ultraviolet rays are no joke, even for animals). He has completely adjusted to being a tripod and needs no special accommodations. He can easily get up and down stairs, jump onto furniture and follow you around the house.

Arthur needs a cat-friendly cat buddy, no dogs, a quiet home and lots of love. We know he loves children so if you have quiet children, or grandchildren, who come to visit, he would be very happy.

He’s very vocal. He sings, makes piggy grunty noises when eating and purrs up a storm. He’s smart. He knows his name and he even comes when you call him.

He is neutered, vaccinated, FIV+ and recently had lots of dental work. Considering how well and quickly he healed from his surgeries, we are really not concerned about the FIV+ status. He is a lover, not a fighter, so him passing it on to negative cats is also not a concern.

He is a senior guy, although we will never know how old. He definitely has some spring in his step still. His bloodwork looks spectacular. He is on some supplements which he scarfs down with his easy digestion wet food. He is the easiest cat to medicate. He loves his food puzzle toy and enjoys catnip. And, more than anything, Arthur loves love.
