My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"I need someone to show me my place in all of this."

Rey is our strong and resourceful heroine.  Beyond  her scavenging, wrestling, and pouncing skills; Rey is unafraid to tell anyone what she wants, and what she does not.  Still little Rey is sweet and fun. Although she was the smallest of the litter, and still is small, she was never shy when it comes to playing with her siblings or any other animals. She loves playing with all kinds of cat and human toys.  Little Rey is a sweet, beautiful panther. She is curious, playful and loves to lounge on the climber. Rey is still nervous around people, particularly children, and loud noises. But toys, chasing, climbing, jumping and just finding fun give her such joy.  Rey's story consists of her attempts to learn, not only the ways of the Force but also to learn about herself and her own identity and place in the world. Rey is sweet and with patience and gentle love she will come out of her shell and make a great companion.

One additional note is she’s VERY vocal, a little  chatty thing. She is not a snuggler but she is absolutely wonderful with other animals and would make a great companion in a quiet home for a lonely cat or gentle dog… that is as long as the hoomans in the home don’t mind their quiet constantly interrupted by her voicing her opinions about everything.

If you’d like to be considered as a home for a kitten, or any of our adoptable kitties, you can complete an adoption application online at: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24586/generic
*Please provide as much info as you can on the application, even if not marked as required, so the adoption coordinators can make the best assessment as to the right match.
** Please make sure to give your vet permission to release information to us as we check references.

We are an all-volunteer organization, most of us have full time jobs on top of the rescue work, so it may take a few days for us to process the applications; please be patient.  If it has been more than 72 hours and you haven’t heard back from us, please check your junk email folder to ensure our response or questions were not sent there.  If you have not received anything, please message us.

All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
