Despite her initial shyness, her foster mom worked diligently with her to gain her trust and help her feel comfortable in her new surroundings. The result? Mama is now a confident, friendly, and loving kitty who craves attention and affection. She adores being petted and will even give tiny love nibbles to show her appreciation. She's also quite playful and enjoys toys, as well as the company of other cats. In fact, she would thrive in a home with feline friends! Mama is quite the social butterfly, following her foster mom around and rubbing her face against her hands and legs. She's even been known to flop over and offer up her belly for some gentle scratches. While she enjoys being held for short periods of time, she's also content to curl up in your lap for a cozy snuggle session. Cats range from $150 to $175. Exotic breeds may be more.
Dogs range from $250 to $350. High demand puppies and small dogs may be more.
This fee includes: felv/fiv/heartworm testing, worming, flea and ear mite treatments, age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, lab work, dental or other medical or surgical treatments as deemed necessary by our team of veterinarians and a microchip with free registration.

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.
We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
