My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Louise (and her adorable sister and partner-in-crime, Thelma), two of the most affectionate, inquisitive, and highly-social kittens you'll meet this season!

This cutie has very unique markings! First; she's what's called a "Dilute" but that most always refers to a Calico but she also has clear, Tabby markings - in shades of tan, apricot and brown. In addition, the dark eye liner is often is associated with the Egyptian Mau. Of course, we wouldn't know, for sure, without a DNA test.

Louise is sweet, affectionate, playful and outgoing and seems to take cues from her silly sister, Thelma. They get along GREAT and it would be nice to adopt them together, as a bonded pair... but it's not a deal breaker. This is because they also get along very well with the three, other kittens (plus two adults) with whom they're currently living.

You'll find their full rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album # 29 or under the "Videos" tab on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including updates on all our cats and kittens). *Be sure to check out Louise's Adoption Video and fall in L-O-V-E!!

Louise's adoption will include her:
* Spay surgery,
* De-worming,
* FVRCP vaccinations,
* Rabies vaccination (if old enough),
* Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative),
* Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution),
* and Micro chipping!

~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~

* Please only contact us if you'll be making Louise a permanent member of your household and will be keeping her safe indoors.

** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair!

*** You can also find all our adoptables on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including their rescue story, photos and video updates).

Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!
