My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.

Cherry is a 1 year old tortie girl who is as special as they come! Her foster home says she is playful and sweet. She has been living with a couple other resident cats and four large breed dogs in her current foster home, so she is very well socialized and could join pretty much any kind of family dynamic.

She would be a great option for a home that wants a friend for an existing kitty or a cat savvy dog. She would also be fine with children. She would be just as happy being an only cat if you are looking for just one kitty to devote all your time too. She is very easy going. She has a very snuggly personality and loves to sleep with her humans in bed at night. She is confident, affectionate and smart. An all-round great kitty. If you think she is the one you have been searching for, apply to adopt this sweetheart as she is sure to be the 'cherry' on top of all your days!

She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Please read the biography on the dog first and if the dog sounds like a match, pls fill out an application on our website.

2.
Interview

We review applications and we choose the application(s) that appear to be the best match and we do a phone interview.

3.
Approve Application

If the Interview Team agrees it is a match, then we approve the home.

4.
Pay Fee

In order to make an appointment to meet the dog you are interested in, we require a $50 deposit that goes towards your adoption fee.

5.
Meet the Pet

Once the deposit is paid we then set up the home to meet the dog.

6.
Pay Fee

Pay the Fee and take the dog home!

Doggie Protective Services is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization. Our rescued dogs and cats live in foster homes until we can find them appropriate, responsible, loving homes. We carefully screen potential adoptors through an application and interview process.
