My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mocha!

Why the name Mocha? Because she has the prettiest mocha brown coat! This sweet girl is ready to find her happily every after. She’s not only sweet but loves to play too! She has been hanging out with her fur sibling and having a blast. She has typical dog energy and knows basic commands. She loves her humans but small children may frighten her so a home with older and respectable children would be best. A home without cats to chase would be best also. She love love loves the water and would love an active family. All dogs come fully vetted and spay/neutered. Being fostered in Flint and is ready for a meet and greet with you!

More about this rescue

District 5 Animal Alliance is a non profit 501c3 organization and our main goal is to save dogs off the streets or crowded shelters. Our dogs come from the Detroit municipal shelter and most are bully breeds at risk of euthanasia. We care for our dogs and believe in neuter and spaying to help our over population problem. We give dogs second chances so they can live a long and happy life and bring joy to their family.
