Jordan is a domestic long-haired male white and orange one-year-old cat. He has the cutest little orange spots on his white ears and the most amazingly fluffy tail.
Jordan is a happy-go-lucky boy who loves to cuddle and purr extensively. When out of his cage, he explores quietly with little drama. Plus, he seems curious to get to know the other cats at the rescue.
Jordan is irresistible, but he needs special care. That’s because he has a thing for eating stuff he shouldn’t, like plastic and hair; vets call this pica. As a result, he has had to have surgery to clear an obstruction in his intestinal tract. There are multiple possible causes for Jordan’s inappropriate diet, both medical issues and boredom related to lack of stimulation.
So, Jordan needs a home where he will have lots to do, including playing and interacting with people and animals. Also, his home needs to be free of opportunities for eating hair and plastic.
Jordan was at the rescue as a kitten, then adopted and loved in his home. He is sad to be back at the rescue due to his eating habits. If you’re willing to give Jordan a home, he will reward you with loud purring when you hold him and lots of love in general.
