My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cleopatra “Cleo”, a beautiful, young (under 2), Havanese mix who was found as a stray.

Cleo is a sweet, energetic, smart little girl who loves to play and run. She is gentle, loving, and has learned to patiently wait her turn in most things. When she is focused, she knows basic commands.

Cleo is not just a lap dog or a dog solely for companionship - she loves to play/work. Because of the type of dog she is, Cleo needs to be placed in a home and with a family who is active in and out of the home. She needs a family who can dedicate time to provide her with daily activities of mental and physical stimulation, like daily walks and playing with a ball for physical outlets, a fenced-in yard to run and play in, and puzzles for mental challenges. Cleo is a young dog who still has many puppy behaviors and needs to be treated, trained, and redirected as such. She would greatly benefit from continued training. She is an acrobat and would do great with agility training. We were also told she would be a great candidate to become a therapy dog! How cool is that?

Cleo is spayed, UTD on vaccines, and house, crate, and leash trained. She is good with other dogs and would benefit from a young dog sibling to play with. She has not been cat tested and it is recommended she is only with children over 12 years old. Due to her energy level and needs, she will require an active home.
