Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Carrot, a gentle, sweet, and highly-social Orange Tabby boy with a white bib, socks and boots. Yes, he's as cuddly as her appears in his photos!
His foster mom writes: "Carrot purrs the moment you start to pet him and likes to be held like a baby. He’s a sweet and curious boy who loves affection and playtime."
This cutie is part of a litter of five newborns we rescued, along with their feral Mama, who helped raise them until weaned. His older sister, Figaro, a stunning Russian Blue mix (with white Tuxedo markings) also began comfort nursing Carrot and his littermates, so he's also kind of a Mama's boy.
You'll find many adorable videos that chronical his rescue journey on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including updates on ALL of our available cats and kittens)... in Photo Album #29 or under the VIDEOS tab.
Carrot's adoption will include his:
* Neuter surgery,
* De-worming,
* FVRCP vaccinations,
* Rabies vaccination,
* Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative),
* Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution),
* and Micro chipping!
~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~
* Please only contact us if you'll be making this handsome boy a permanent member of your household and will be keeping him safe indoors.
** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair!
Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!
