My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Candy!

The courageous and resilient 9 year old boxer mix who was saved from the Euthanasia list and is now looking for her forever home! Despite facing challenges in her early life, this sweet girl has shown incredible strength and determination.

After being rescued, Candy underwent surgery to remove a benign mass on her chest, and thanks to the love and care she received, she's feeling much better now. This brave little soul is ready to embark on a new chapter of her life with a family who will cherish her for who she is.

Candy's gentle and loving nature makes her a fantastic companion for kids. With a proper introduction, she can get along well with other dogs, but she's not too fond of cats or livestock. However, her affectionate and playful demeanor with humans more than makes up for it!

Despite her difficult past, Candy has a heart full of love to give. The first eight years of her life might not have been ideal, but she's looking forward to brighter days ahead. Currently in foster care, she deserves a stable and loving environment where she can feel safe and cherished.

Candy's temporary foster family can't keep her due to their existing cats and livestock, so she urgently needs a new home where she can thrive and be a cherished member of the family. Let's work together to find this deserving pup the perfect forever home or a new foster that suits her needs.

During her time with a short-term foster family, Candy showed her true colors as a precious and lovable soul. She's now eagerly waiting for someone to open their heart and home to her.

If you're interested in giving Candy the love and care she deserves, please reach out directly for more information. She's ready to share her unconditional love with the right family and create lasting memories together. Let's make sure Candy's journey leads her to a place she can call home! Please find the link to her foster paperwork below for further details.
