Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Happy 48th anniversary to Homeward Bound Pets Humane Society!!!! We have proudly served Yamhill County and numerous other counties to find placement for homeless, stray, abandoned and owner surrendered animals. We wanted to celebrate our anniversary with a special offer. All dogs and cats over 6 months of age will have an adoption fee of $48.00 from July 13th-August 31st.
Our adoption procedure will still be the following below:
Dog meet and greets are by appointment only, please answer the questions below the bio, either through Petfinder, Adopt-A-Pet or by directly e-mailing us at shelter@hbpets.org. Please be patient, we are over capacity and short staffed, we try to get back to everyone quickly, it may be 4-5 days.
Meet Brody, approx 10mths-14mths old, soon to be neutered male. Brody was left chained to our fence with a partial bag of dog food and a bowl, no note, nothing to tell us about him, nothing. This poor kid was terrified, it took a few days for him to decompress, once he realized he was safe and would be fed everyday, his real personality emerged. Brody is a silly guy, he loves people and likes to play with our kong toys. We don't know how he would be with cats or small children (we don't have small children), he is active and would love someone to take him for daily walks.
My adoption fee is $48: Included Neuter, Microchip, vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment and a 1lbs bag of food.
1. Do you have a privately fenced yard?
2. How many humans and ages live in your home? Male/female for adults?
3. How many animals, types and male/female for dogs?
4. Do you have the patience to allow Brody to get comfortable with you?
5. He needs an owner who can take him on walks and play chase, is this something you can do?
