Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dog meet and greets are by appointment only, please answer the questions below the bio, either through Petfinder, Adopt-A-Pet, Rescueme.org or by directly e-mailing us at shelter@hbpets.org. Answering the questions below, will help move the adoption prcoess along faster.
Meet Hercules, age estimate between 7-9yrs old, neutered, chocolate lab mix. Hercules was abandoned at a business in Yamhill County, he is a very goofy, sweet boy, we were surprised no one came for him. He had some skin issues that took some time to resolve and the fur on his back is still growing in. Hercules is a big boy, weighing in at 93 pounds, he loves tennis balls and chuck-its, he would play fetch all day, well more like he gets the ball, then teases you with it!!! He is housebroken, he listens well, he knows basic commands. He loves everyone, likes to take his time wondering aorund the yard, so he would prefer a private fenced yard. Due to his size, he would not be good for someone who easily falls over, such as toddlers. He ignores our dogs, but would prefer a female dog, close in size, he has not been cat tested. He would love a home where he can be with his owner, a big comfy bed, lost of tennis balls, he is goofy, so laughter will be apart of your day.
My adoption fee is $125: Included Neuter, senior blood work,Microchip, vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment and a 1lbs bag of food.
1. Do you have a privately fenced yard?
2. How many humans and ages live in your home? Male/female for adults?
3. How many animals, types and male/female for dogs?
4. Do you have the patience to allow Hercules to get comfortable with you?
5. He needs an owner who can take him on walks and play fetch, is this something you can do?
6. He has flea allergy, so he needs good flea medication, is this something you can do?
