If you are interested in fostering Penny, reach out to us, Penny needs a foster home!
Penny is a special girl looking for a special someone to open their heart and home. She is a beautiful, black shepherd mix but smaller than you'd expect, weighing 45 pounds. Penny will do best in a home without other dogs, no cats, and without small children.
Penny was originally adopted in early 2020 from All Dog, started having trouble with the other dog in the house; resource guarding toys, food and her people, and was returned to All Dog in 2023. Penny can play with dogs outdoors one-on-one, she and one of the resident foster dogs are best friends, but only when they're outside.
Penny is very affectionate with her people, loves to be outside, walks well on a leash, is house trained and crate trained although she prefers to not be crated and doesn't really need to be. Penny's perfect home is one where she is the only animal, there aren't any children, and her people are committed to training Penny to help her be the best dog she can be.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The applicant must fill out a detailed adoption application (it is on our website), then is screened by an experienced volunteer. We charge adoption fees that are comparable to those of similar organizations in our area. The adoptive home must agree to and initial a list of regulations as well as complete a formal contract.

Go meet their pets

We hold public adoptions twice per month, and are often able to meet prospective families outside the events if need be.

More about this rescue

All Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster home based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter and do not have any paid staff. Our dogs live in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their new forever homes. We offer a lifetime commitment to the dogs in our program. All of our dogs receive comprehensive vet work prior to adoption, including exam, vaccinations, microchip, HW/Lyme's test, fecal exam, and all are spayed and/or neutered. We do it because we love dogs, and with 4 million animals being euthanized every year in shelters around the country, the numbers of dogs needing our help is endless.
