Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Maria E. "Beasley," inventor of the foot warmer, the barrel, Anti-derailment device for trains and the life raft!, Ms. Beasley is an adorable, Brown, Striped Tabby who we rescued from a backyard colony in Arleta, CA... along with her three siblings and 4 cousins.
This cutie is sweet, gentle and curious and enjoys being held in your lap and getting full body massages... including bell rubs! Her purr begins almost upon first contact. The ideal home for her would be with with at least one other young/young-ish cat/kitten and a human who'll continue to play with her and assure her with trust exercises. She may be a little fearful upon first approach but when she plays - it's with full abandon.
If you're looking to adopt a pair of kittens she's got six siblings and cousins from which to choose... all of whom are named after famous inventors!
You'll find her complete rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album #30 on our Facebook page: "Save the Leadwell Kitties" ...along with ALL of our adoptable cats and kittens!
Beasley's adoption will include her:
* Spay surgery,
* De-worming,
* FVRCP vaccinations,
* Rabies vaccination (if old enough),
* Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative),
* Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution),
* and Micro chipping!
~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~
* Please only contact us if you'll be making this cutie a permanent member of your household and will be keeping her safe indoors.
** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair!
*** You can also find all our adoptables on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including their rescue story, photos and video updates).
