Hi there! I'm Squeaks. I came to HART when I was just three months old, along with my siblings and feral mom. Life wasn't easy at first – I had an intestinal tract infection, Calicivirus, and skin & eye infections. But thanks to the amazing care from the vets and the HART staff, after several months of treatment, I started feeling much better.
I was adopted into a loving home with my brother, Roscoe. However, after a year and a half, we had to come back to HART because our family couldn't take care of us anymore.
Now, I'm all grown up cat and 3 years old, and people say I'm quite gorgeous. I love playing with wand toys and getting petted and brushed. I just love any attention from humans. I've got a giant purr that I use to show you how when I'm happy. Unfortunately, I'm still not feeling well. I stand and walk stiffly, and an X-ray showed that I have arthritis in my joints. That's unusual for a young lady like myself. It makes me stand uncomfortably and has lead to issues with incontinence. HART has been working hard to figure out what's going on with my health, but in the meantime, has been giving me medication to help my joints feel better.
My brother, Roscoe, has comforted me through sickness and health, and we need to go to our fur-ever home together. We get along well with other cats so we would also do well with other calm cats or kittens in the house. Look for the link to our online Adoption Application is further down this page. All applicants must be 18 years+ to adopt from the HART.

Approve Application
Adoption applications will be reviewed by a HART staff member. HART reserves the right to deny
an application per their discretion.

Interview
During the Adoption Interview, we will discuss your living situation, your needs, and how you plan to provide a happy home for a cat.

Pay Fee
Adoption Fees:
Kittens under 1 year old: $125,
Cats 1- 8 years old: $99,
Senior cats, 8 years or older: $69,
Seniors for Seniors: $25

Take the Pet Home
If you plan to adopt, please bring a carrier with you for your new kitty! Otherwise a cardboard carrier may be provided.
