Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tinker! She is guessed to be about 4 years old and weighs 10.5 lbs. She is a really sweet girl who will make a great companion. She's sweet, well-behaved, and lovable. She rides well in the car and does wonderful on walks. She would love her own fenced in yard with grass to roam and play in. She does have some narrowing of spaces between her vertebrae, Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD). It will be important to ensure she does not jump on or off furniture, does not engage in high impact activities, or activities which could cause back strain- like sudden changes of direction, and that she maintains a healthy weight. Complications with IVDD can lead to paralysis and incontinence, so it is best to manage and prevent any back strain. Because of the IVDD she does have a slightly abnormal gait, but she gets around with no issues right now.
Application, reference checks, and home visit required. Adopters must live 1.5 hours driving distance from Romeoville, IL. For more information on adopting, please email us at info@perfectpooches.org.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.perfectpooches.org under the Adoption Process tab. All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested (age appropriate), fecal tested and/or dewormed, and microchipped.

More about this rescue
A rescue organization dedicated to helping you locate and adopt your "perfect" pooch.
No one, or nothing, is perfect....this includes dogs, but we firmly believe that there is a "perfect" dog for everyone. This doesn't mean our dogs will not have accidents in the house, or bark at times you don't want them to, or chew on your good shoes. They are dogs and they will require training and structure, but their flaws make them truly unique, beautiful, and "perfect" for the right family.
Perfect Pooches Adoption Agency (PPAA) is dedicated to working with each family to ensure we try to find a dog that will be a match with your lifestyle, needs, and wants. If we do not currently have a dog that is a match we will do our best to help approved adopters locate a dog that would be a better fit.
Our pooches are rescue dogs that deserve a second chance. Please consider opening your heart and home to a new companion today!
