Richie is a three year old Jack Russell mix who weighs 18 pounds. He was left locked in a local storage unit. Richie loves people and dogs but will chase a cat. His favorite thing to do is run and play outside and chase squirrels. Richie would be a great family dog and would be great kids pet. **Richie will need a six foot high fence as he can jump a four foot one very easily**. He did test lo positive for heartworms and is currently getting monthly treatment. He has no symptoms and will just need to continue monthly preventative.
Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
