Meet Nala, a 4-year-old, female, Mastiff with a heartwarming story. After a life of being bred, Nala found her way to MHCR from a rural shelter in NM. Now, in her retirement, she’s looking for a loving home where she can enjoy a slow-paced, calm, and relaxing life. With her nurturing history as a mama to many pups, she deserves all the care and comfort in the world.

Nala weighs approximately 125 lbs and could benefit from shedding a few pounds to maintain her health. She’s a friendly and gentle soul, likely to do well with kids, although she would prefer a home with less chaos. Nala is already house trained and appreciates having a crate available for those moments when she wants to rest and feel secure.
