Meet Feller
Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit, foster-based, rescue organization. AHFK is located in SE Minnesota in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue.
Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia.
All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit.
Our Adoption fee is $425.00 for a single dog adoption.
All our dogs are completely vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
We are currently accepting applications for Feller. Feller wandered up to a home in West Virginia. He was looking for a place to lay his head. A place he could call home. The homeowner posted him, however, no one came to claim him. He was surrendered to Almost Home Foster/Kennel and transported to Minnesota.
Feller is approximately 3 years of age. He is a Tricolored Beagle and weighs approximately 26#. He is quiet, gentle, and very loving. He enjoys his belly rubs and loves to be with humans of all sizes and ages.
Feller does well with other dogs, children and adults. Feller has not been cat-tested. He is mild-mannered, has a sweet personality, and loves attention, cuddles and pets.
Feller is a Beagle, a natural hunter, therefore, we are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard and a family with one Pet Parent that is a stay-at-home parent, or one which works from home; a family that can help Feller acclimate to her new surroundings and environment with compassion, love, and patience. Please allow 6-8 weeks for Feller to acclimate to the changes in her life.
