Meet LANA and LENNY. It is hard to believe that these two adorable teenaged Lynx Point mixes have been waiting on a home since last summer!
Lana and Lenny offer the perfect balance between the playfulness and curiosity of kittens and the calm and sense of self-preservation of seasoned house cats. They aren't going to climb your curtains or inadvertently take a swim in your open toilet, but they also aren't going bask in the sun or lounge on the sofa all day. There is still a lot of running, chasing, and wrestling going on, just without all the mayhem and destruction.
Although initially a little cautious around strangers, they are both the most loving little cats once you earn their trust. LANA: Although we have yet to locate it, we are pretty sure this green-eyed girl has an on/off switch. Most of the day, she is off, basking in the sun or playing with her feline friends. But when she is on, she is ON. And by on we mean on your lap, on your shoulders, or, if you dare choose work over giving her the attention she requires, splayed out on your keyboard. This is a lady who knows what she wants and, for 15 minutes twice a day, isn't taking no for an answer. Acquiesce to her demands and, like the artist for whom she was named, she'll sing for you. (Really. She trills LOUDLY while she purrs. It is adorable.) She is also a petite little thing at just 6.5 pounds.
Lana is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. LENNY: is content to come around every so often and demand fifteen minutes of petting, then retreat when he's had enough of you.
True to their Siamese roots, these two are also exceptionally vocal. Whenever she is content (which, if you're doing it right, she always is), Lana emits a unique - and loud - combination of a purr and a trill, while Lenny lets out the sweetest, softest little meows to let you know that it is time to shower him with affection.Born 4/23/23.
