My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bear is ready to find his forever home! Bear is a rough coat Collie/Australian Shepherd mix and is believed to be approximately 7 years old. He is a happy, friendly boy who had not lived the best life before coming into rescue. He had spent his entire life outdoors on a chain and was just fed when it was convenient and then it was mostly just scraps that could be thrown out to him. He was very underweight and only knew life on a chain. Since being rescued, Bear has thrived in his foster home and had learned much better life can be! He has put on weight and his previously dull and mattes coat is coming back in nicely. He is such a handsome boy! He prances when he walks as to show off his good looks and personality! He gets along great with other dogs so a home with a fur brother or sister would be great, but not a requirement. He would be just as happy just being his new Hunan's best friend. A home with cats would not be a good fit for Bear, as he does seem a little too interested in them. Bear weighs approximately 65 lbs, a home with older children is recommended, only because of his size.
Bear is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. He is also microchipped and on heartworm prevention.
Bear can't wait to meet his new family and see where his next chapter in life takes him. He will truly make a great companion.
For more info or if you feel Bear would be a good fit, please fill out and submit our adoption application.

There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever home.
