My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Louise is the sister of Louie. They are a bonded pair. They are high-energy and athletic dogs. A farm or ranch would be an ideal place for them, and they would make excellent working dogs. They stick close by their people, and they would make great guard dogs.

Additional adoption info

We require potential adopters to meet the animal they are interested in adopting. If they decide to move forward, they fill out an application. We contact their references and veterinarian. If there are other animals in the home, we require a meet and greet. If all is well, we approve their application. The adoption fee is paid, and the animal goes to their forever home!

More about this shelter

We are a private, non-profit animal rescue founded in 1993 by Florence Dedman. She gave her entire life savings to found an animal rescue to serve her hometown and community. We strive to keep her spirit alive in our work, and provide a safe place for cats and dogs to stay when they have nowhere else to go.
