My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Betty is full of sass! She loves to play, especially with small stuffed toys like her favorite donut. She brings joy to all who meet her. She loves to snuggle as close as she can with her people, and follows them around the house. She hops like a bunny up the stairs but hasn’t yet learned to go down. She is doing really well with house training considering she was an outdoor dog in Puerto Rico before she came
to BDRA. She loves to walk and enjoys being outside. She is curious about everything she hears and people she sees. She loves to sit in her humans’ lap and give tons of kisses. She can hop up and down from furniture with no problem. She loves snacks at any time of day, and has no issues with eating or drinking.

Betty has cataracts in both eyes but it seems like she does have some vision and gets around without bumping into things. After seeing the vet we learned Betty is in good health and has started receiving eye drops for her cataracts.

Betty doesn’t currently live with other animals in her foster home but in her previous home environment she did not get along with female dogs. She would do best as an only dog or with a laid back male dog. Betty is a spunky, loving girl who would make a wonderful addition to any home.
