My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mitzi is a 3 year old Chihuahua who weighs approx 3 1/2 lbs.

She is super sweet, affectionate & cuddly. She’s housebroken, loves dogs of all sizes & we believe she’d do very well with cats also.

Mitzi barks at new people and prefers women over men. With a tiny bit of effort & some treats she will become anyone’s best friend.

Mitzi has been spayed, microchipped & vaccinated. She came to us with a luxated patella that was so bad she had no use of her right hind leg. Surgery was performed on 6/19 & her recovery has been uneventful and she now has full use of the leg. She has a follow up with her surgeon on 8/21 and will be available to leave promptly after that appt.

Requirements to adopt Mitzi;
- No kids under the age of 5
- Any male living in the home must exude kindness towards her and understand she’ll take a little bit of time to warm up to them
- No rowdy dogs
