My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Adopt-able Dahlia is a Cane Corso pup from Detroit that we were fortunate enough to rescue.  Dahlia is around 6 months old with a birthdate around 1/30/2022.  she is a happy-go-lucky girl!  She loves her mastiff foster siblings and we think she would do GREAT with a male doggy brother.  She is a full Cane and as such would do best with someone who has mastiff/ Cane experience.  We would not recommend her for a first-time dog owner.  However, she does seem to be VERY well adjusted and would most likely fit into any home.  Please get all applications into Busterdogs.com ASAP!

More about this rescue

WHO WE ARE: The Buster Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and re-homing pit bulls and bully breed mixes. Through decades of cruelty, unethical breeding and irresponsible ownership, a once beloved family dog has now found itself the victim of discrimination and abuse, and a source of misdirected public fear. We believe that every dog is an individual, deserving of a loving home, proper care, and a fair shake, regardless of breed. We hope our efforts lead to a better educated and more compassionate public.

The Buster Foundation is an ALL VOLUNTEER organization, and does not operate a shelter. All Buster dogs are cared for in foster homes by volunteers who commit their homes and free time to rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption efforts.

We respect our volunteer's fierce commitment to our dogs and trust you will understand why we cannot always respond immediately to requests and inquiries. We make every effort to have a volunteer respond to inquiries and questions within 72 hours. We thank you for your understanding and patience! Please try again if you do not receive a response within 72 hours.
