Our newest boy certainly lives up to his name. He is big and he is definitely handsome. We rescued him off the side of a highway interchange. Who knows how he got there, all we know is we have him now and he finally can get the live he deserves. He is still figuring out how to be a dog and is a little skiddish, but is getting better! He warms up to new people after a few minutes and loves it if someone he knows is there to reassure him. He has met some other dogs and seems very interested in interacting with them. He could go to a home with older kids, 13 and up, mostly because he's so big and doesn't know his own size haha. Apply today to bring this big handsome boy into your life! Our screening process can take anywhere from a few days up to 2 weeks. After the application is received, we will make calls to personal and vet references. Upon approval of an application, we will arrange a meet & greet, and then a final home visit.

Adoption donation for all dogs is $300

WHO WE ARE: The Buster Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and re-homing pit bulls and bully breed mixes. Through decades of cruelty, unethical breeding and irresponsible ownership, a once beloved family dog has now found itself the victim of discrimination and abuse, and a source of misdirected public fear. We believe that every dog is an individual, deserving of a loving home, proper care, and a fair shake, regardless of breed. We hope our efforts lead to a better educated and more compassionate public.

The Buster Foundation is an ALL VOLUNTEER organization, and does not operate a shelter. All Buster dogs are cared for in foster homes by volunteers who commit their homes and free time to rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption efforts.
