Bonus is an entertaining 2yr old 11lb boy that is looking for a very special forever home. He needs a family committed to his health and happiness. Bonus continues to improve from a corrective surgery for a liver shunt. He is currently living a normal spunky life but will require an owner with a vet that understands follow up care to assure he continues to thrive.
Bonus is an excellent companion with lots of love and laughter to share with his family. He loves walks, tossing toys, fluffy dog beds, chewing on bones, napping on laps, zooming around the house and showing off his quick ninja moves. Bonus would love an easy going but fun dog companion or two and a home without small kids.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
