Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet lady came back to us after her owners were unable to keep her. She is a very lovely kitty who enjoys being pet, will rub up against you and sit near you, but not on your lap, once she is comfortable with you. She tolerates being picked up and carried, but doesn't enjoy snuggles. She travels very well in the car and has made several road trips across Ontario. She likes catnip toys, but isn't a big fan of chasing a ball. She likes to watch visitors to her home from afar and isn't likely to visit for more than a passing head scratch. She is tolerant of children and other cats, but not dogs. She has been spayed, is up to date with her vaccines, is FIV/FelV negative and has had her flea treatment.

An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet.
Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward.
You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200.
It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along.
We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations.
Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes faster by respecting these guidelines!
