Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome man is Ayce!
Quick Facts:
Breed: Pitbull X
Age: 4 years old
Size: 70#
Ayce found himself in rescue when his previous owner felt like he wasn't able to provide the life that Ayce deserved. Being the near perfect dog he is, we are on a mission to find Ayce a forever family who will allow him to live the rest of his days out in the kind of luxury that comes with endless adventure and love.
Ayce has all the basics covered with "sit", "down", "shake", and "drop it" - one of the most magical things about adopting an adult dog! He adores every toy, ever - especially squeaky toys - and shares them even more so with both his canine and human friends. Ayce LOVES all dogs and people thus far, but has not met a cat. Full disclaimer: Paired with his semi-large stature, Ayce's exuberance may overflow in his love for the tiny humans, so we do highly recommend the kind of kids who wear football helmets to bed.
He walks well on a leash, but can pull a little when he gets excited. He is house trained, crate trained (AND kennels on command!). Ayce's "flaw" comes in the form of fear of thunderstorms and fireworks - he will pant heavily & go find somewhere quiet and dark to hang out until it passes.
His current foster has a 5ft fence and he has shown no interest in looking for an exit route, but we always recommend supervision outdoors, even in a secured, fenced yard so Ayce doesn't suddenly find himself on the back of a milk carton.
