Hi! My name is Lucia and I am a female corgi mix puppy (7-8 months old). I am what is known as a "double merle", the result of a gene that causes me to be mostly white. The gene can also cause deafness and can affect vision. I am deaf and visually impaired (I can only see out of one eye). But, don't let my "special needs" prevent you from considering me! It doesn't prevent me from doing anything! I am a spunky, playful, friendly, silly little girl. My favorite things to do are to play with the ball, snuggle on the couch and go for car rides! Because of my hearing and visual impairments, small/young kids would not be a good fit for me. Older (>8 yr) dog savvy kids would be OK. I am learning sign language and touch training. I know how to use a doggy door, I'm crate-trained and 95% housebroken. I am spayed and up-to-date on my vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact kathie@herdinghaven.org
