My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet another member of the Smurfs, Tiny Smurf!

Quick Facts:
Breed: Rat Terrier/Chihuahua X
Age: 5-6 years old.
Size: 8#.

Tiny Smurf came into rescue with two sisters & recently had a dental, where she had 16 - yes, SIXTEEN - teeth pulled. She is well on her way back to being a healthy, happy girl & can't wait to find her forever!

Tiny Smurf is a couch potato, only getting out of bed with a "you first" mentality. She is the lappiest of lap dogs, getting her zoomies out for a few minutes a day, and spending the rest snuggled up with you, getting belly rubs.

So far, she has done well with all dogs she has met, but dog park environments can be a little overwhelming for her. Tiny Smurf can be slightly skittish, and though she has no problem greeting other dogs, she really isn't interested in doing so. She has never met a cat or children, but after a warm up period, her stranger danger fades & all is well in the world.

Tiny Smurf is working on her leash manners & is mostly house trained. She does appreciate a pee pad in her crate at night, though. She is crate trained, but does need a little coaxing to go in.
