My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aurora is available for local adoption or adoption and transport to another state. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so she is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home.

Aurora is what happens when someone gets a dog without researching the breed. Her mom lives in an apartment and wants to find a new home for Aurora because the poor dog has to spend most of the time in a crate. Of course, all the rescues down here are full, so the women even tried to surrender Aurora to animal control. Except animal control does not accept owner surrenders, so the ACO reached out to see if I could help.

Aurora is a small lab mix around 1-1/2 years old and weighing 43 pounds. She is
crate-trained and house-trained. She is good with cats. She knows how to sit, give paw, and lay down. She loves chew bones and chasing balls. Aurora is active and just needs a family that will give her a lot of attention and playtime. She may or may not need additional obedience training. Aurora is a good girl. She must be in the house as a loved member of the family and would like a large yard to run and play.

Aurora is healthy. She is spayed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. She is negative for heartworms and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. We would really love Aurora to have a fabulous forever home and we will consider both local and out-of-state applications. Her out-of-state adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport, and she can be transported almost anywhere within the continental United States. Aurora is being fostered in Texas and cannot be transported until after she is adopted. Please send an email to 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this very good girl.
