My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Susy is a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever with a heart as big as her smile. Friendly, affectionate, and she loves spending time with people, going on adventures, and enjoying playtime in the great outdoors.

Susy is the perfect blend of playful and gentle. She loves belly rubs, soft blankets, and being close to her people. Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood or a cozy night on the couch, Susy is happiest just being by your side.

She’s smart, eager to please, and has a loving energy that makes her a joy to be around. Susy would do well in a variety of homes — whether you’re a first-time dog parent or an experienced pup lover, she’ll fit right in.

Susy went on a doggy day out, here is what they had to say: `She was so good and so sweet. She is great on the leash!! She is a good car rider but needs a little help getting in the car! But once she’s in she is a happy girl. We walked around the park, did squirrel watching, walked around Lowe’s, and got some water at McDonalds! This girl is so sweet!`

Adoption Fee: $50

This dog would greatly benefit from a foster home where they can continue to thrive and blossom. If you’re interested in fostering, please submit a foster application here: https://www.houstonhumane.org/volunteer/become-a-foster
