My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is June Bug!

June Bug is about 2 years old, approxt 60 pounds, pointer/coonhound mix. She lived chained up outside and was only allowed to come in side occasionally. Her family dropped her off at an over populated shelter when she became pregnant. June Bug is dog friendly, sweet, goofy, has moderate energy and she loves everyone she meets!! The shelter staff feels June Bug is a sweetheart, and she is so loved by them all.

June Bug recently gave birth to 8 adorable puppies in the shelter. While at the shelter, she was diagnosed with heartworm. Something that is easily preventative, but no one cared enough to give her a monthly hw preventative. Unfortantley, this is very common for southern dogs. Furever Home Dog Rescue can have her treated for heartworm, have her spayed and bring her up to date with vaccines. Now all June Bug needs a furever home.

June Bug’s family would have to keep her calm (leash walks only) for about 4 weeks and then she can be re-tested again. If she still test posititve, she would need to be treated again. If she test negative she will be ready to start a new chapter in her life by finding her furever family!

Please consider June Bug! You will change her life!
If you have a furever home for this pet, please e-mail Furever Home Dog Rescue at FureverHomeDogRescue@gmail.com and request an adoption application.

Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be left alone all day.

We do not have a shelter facility you can visit. Our volunteers foster the dogs and pups in their homes once they have been vetted and transported here to NJ.

Please read our homepage to read how the adoption process works. And, to read our many reviews - www.FureverHomeDogRescue.com. Thank you!
